A well-established and highly reputable main contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The Role
You will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects, working closely with project teams and senior leadership while also supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account

• Cost planning, procurement and subcontractor management

• Managing variations, valuations and financial reporting

• Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial success

• Mentoring and developing junior Quantity Surveyors within the team

• Managing multiple projects across commercial, industrial and environmental sectors

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

• Proven experience working for reputable main contractors

• Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to support and mentor junior team members

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
